NEW YORK, NY — Stonybrook Capital & Risk Management (“Stonybrook”) is pleased to announce the recent addition of William Generous to the team. As Senior Vice President of Stonybrook Capital, Mr. Generous will assist the team in expanding its capacities in capital raising and advisory in the general insurance and InsurTech space.
Mr. Generous joined Stonybrook from EJF, a hedge fund with $12 billion of assets under management based in Washington DC. At EJF, he was part of the structured product team working on investment deals across capital structures, both equity and debt, covering public and private insurance companies in both the US and Bermuda.

Stonybrook advised on debt deals for HIIG, now Skyward Specialty, and eMaxx, of which Mr. Generous was involved while at EJF.
Mr. Generous graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors of Science in Computational Physics.
