NEW YORK, NY Stonybrook Capital & Risk Management is proud to announce that its own, Will Generous, Senior Vice President, has been invited to speak on a panel at the Casualty Actuarial Society’s “CAS Spring Meeting 2022” in Orlando, Florida, on May 17th, 2022. The full conference will take place from May 15th to the 18th and is projected to have almost one thousand actuaries in attendance from around the country. The topic of Mr. Generous’ panel is “Mergers, Acquisitions Valuations, and Enterprise Risk Management.” Mr. Generous was asked to discuss current and future industry trends in M&A in the insurance and insurtech industry verticals. The panel will be moderated by Bob Wolf, VP and Chief Actuary at Stonetrust Commercial Insurance Company, and will feature two other industry panelists.
Mr. Generous joined Stonybrook in July 2021, where he works on capital raising and M&A advisory. Prior to Stonybrook, he was at EJF Capital, a financial service-focused hedge fund based in Washington DC. At EJF, he was part of the structured product team working on investment deals across capital structures, both equity and debt, covering public and private insurance companies in both the US and Bermuda. Mr. Generous graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Computational Physics.
